TEAM LEADER HINTS

1.  Don't wait to give feedback; when you see it, say it.

2.  Poor feedback = Keep it private, Keep it personal

3.  Focus on those you can inspire

4.  Take intelligent risk

        2 points for right answer, 1 point for wrong answer, NO POINTS for No answer

5.  Encourage people to give feedback directly to coworkers

6.  Criteria for reinforcement:

        S - SINCERE     S - SPECIFIC     I - IMMEDIATE     P - PERSONAL

        i.  State what you observe

        ii.  Wait for a response

        iii.  Remind of goal

        iv.  Ask specific action which will happen

11.  Be upfront, don't make empty promises

13.  Constructive conflict is good; If there is no conflict, there is something to challenge
